Late Spring is a printed wallcovering by Thatcher Studio designer Lindsay Jordan Kretchun. Its design bridges ornamental stylization and organic beauty to create environments with extra-dimensional vibrancy. The pattern celebrates when flowers are in the most expressive and most delicate phase of their life cycle. Inspired by that brief time of year at the end of spring, just before summer, the motif of a flower is translated as an abstraction of itself and rendered into a wallcovering. Like Byzantine art, the pattern, reminiscent of pressed flowers, trades realism in favor of ornamental expression: the flower silhouette as an icon of the end of spring. Available in Sunrise, Day and Sunset.
